Right, so I thought as I haven't updated in a ridiculously long time, I would.

News:
Totally obsessed with Heroes. If you haven't watched it yet, you are silly and ought to. It's absolutely amazing.
In games lessons this year, I'm doing basketball and climbing. Basketball I can cope with perfectly fine, but I failed to remember that I'm not good with heights when I chose climbing. But I am slowly but surely getting more confident. I have concluded that I am freakishly weak.
Robin Hood Series 2 is back and is just as amazing as it always was. I loved this Saturday's episode! It made me so happy, even though there was some bad CGI.
Also - loving the Rugby World Cup!! I hope we win!! We might. Though I'm not too convinced.
Spooks returns tomorrow!! Yay! Everyone must watch!! Argh! It's so good. Plus, cos it's on TV, everyone will watch it!
Also obsessed with House right now. Anyone else watching season 4? I've watched the first 2 episodes, but I need to watch the episode from last week and the one that's being shown tonight.
Also, unbelievably crazy about Gilmore Girls! Please tell me someone else watches it? I am only on Season 2, but I've read all the spoilers and know what happens... oh I love it.

Plans:
Half term begins next week, and I am going to Venice and Florence with school on Sunday (at some unearthly hour) with my friend from school who is likely to be hyper most of the time. It should be very fun. I had the information evening earlier this evening, so I'm very excited...
Oh oh !! I can't believe I forgot!! Argh!! HARRY POTTER!! It's coming back to film at our school! And even better - there is a 2 out of 3 chance that I will get to be an extra!! Eees!!

OK, as much as I would love to stay and chat, I have to sleep soon, or I will fall over...

So I haven't updated in a very long time, but now I have a bit more time on my hands I thought I might as well. Right now I'm home alone and the phones broken. It can receive calls but it won't make them. It's sort of unhelpful, especially when there's next to no mobile phone signal here either. Oh well, back to my update.

XXX---SPOILERS-FOR-HARRY-POTTER-AND-THE-ORDER-OF-THE-PHOENIX---XXX

So Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been released. It's all terribly exciting. I've seen it twice already, and am very eager to see it for a third time! My general views on it are pretty amazing! It's probably my favourite film now! The beginning started off as a little slow but it soon picked up the pace. The acting at the start worried me a bit as well but it soon resolved itself. There were a few moments when things didn't quite fit. Like when the twins appeared at Harry's side saying they had just heard him yelling when he had barely raised his voice. I understood it from the book but it just struck me that from just the film it seemed a little odd. Then we got to the school scenes with the Dumbledore's Army sequences. I loved these bits! The acting was stepped up a notch here and it was directed really well. The ending was pretty spectacular. It was the part I was looking most forward to and it didn't disappoint as much as I expected it to. It was done very well but there were a few things that weren't included which I was sad about. I think they could have made the whole section longer and included some of the other rooms in the Department of Mysteries. I missed the part when they were in the room with the brains and Ron picked one up, I thought that would have helped show a bit more sympathy towards the Order's side. Along with the bit when Hermione got that purple cross on her chest and she looked almost dead, and when Neville broke his leg. I missed these bits because they helped to bring a better image of it being a battle, because in the film other than a few scrapes, none of them came out with any physical injuries which seemed a little unrealistic. The parts with the prophecy were cut down tremendously as well. I wanted to see the smashing up of Dumbledore's office and the big explanation of Harry's past. Instead you got a minute long (at the most) chat between Dumbledore and Harry which was well acted but didn't portray nearly enough stuff as the book managed. When we actually heard the prophecy in the film it was shorter and didn't explain the link between Harry and Voldemort. Another thing that was missed out was the fact that it was Professor Trelawney who made the prophecy and unless you were a keen fan of the films or books you would only be able to tell it had been her who made the prophecy because you could match the voice with the same one as the prophecy she made in POA. Oh and another thing that I missed terribly was Buckbeak! And the cleaning of the house, I think that might prove a problem when they come to do the 7th film. SPOILERS FOR HBP )OOTP = 8/10

XXX---SPOILERS-FOR-DOCTOR-WHO-SERIES-3-EPISODE-13-THE-LAST-OF-THE-TIME-LORDS---XXX

This was quite a while ago now, so I'll try and remember it as best as I can. I generally thought it was good but it was no where near the standard of the previous season finales. I thought that the 900 year old Doctor had a strange resemblance to Dobby from Harry Potter. I did however love the whole Jack being the Face Of Boe!! I was so annoyed that they didn't say anything about it in the confidential!! And more terrible news! Catherine Tate is the new assistant! Argh! I really didn't like her performance in the Christmas Special, so I'm kind of dreading next season. However I have heard rumors for an episode that somehow incorporates Rose again. But I think that might have just been a fan doing some wishful thinking.
DW.S03.E13 = 6/10

OK, so my summer plans. I'm going to do some more work for my dad on his website so I can finally pay off my debts to him and also earn a little more for purposes I will explain later. Plus I'm taking over my brother's mini marquee business so I can earn quite a bit more money from that as well!! In August I'm going to Madeira (island off Portugal for those of you who don't do geography), then off to London for a few days and then finally to Cornwall for a week. I'm most excited about the London trip I think because we are going to see Joseph! Also if I can I'm going to try and stay on a few extra days with my brother which will be cool because I don't have to do all the boring things that my parents want to do!! Hehe. So I'll need some extra money for that.
Also this summer I want to try and enrol into a ECDL course at the local college. It's a European Computer Driving License. I know it sounds kinda boring but I know it's something I will be able to do and I want something to do this summer.
Things to buy: external harddrive, digital camera/camcorder, wardrobe, desk, films, books, music account on the internet, and save some money for next year.

Has anyone seen the film Step Up? I am obsessed. I love it. I don't know why I just really like it. Recently I have been loading my iPod up with loads more videos, so Ellie, I have many for you to steal if you so wish!!

So that's me done I'm thinking, I can't be bothered to write much more. I hope everyone has a lovely summer, but I should hopefully be updating a little more often now that schools finished. xxx

*EDIT*
I can't take the EDCL course because as I am not over 16 yet, they can't provide me with insurance for being in the building taking the course. Great. Ah well.
Another thing I want to buy is a Paid Account on LJ! I really want to have some better layouts and I definitely want some more userpics!!
On the external harddrive front, I have bought one! Freecom 500GB. And my dad's buying it through his work so there's no VAT on it. It's part of my payment for the work to my dad's website. That and paying off debt.
Anyone watch Coupling? It's fabulous! It's incredibly funny! I just finished watching all 4 Season this morning!! Awww...
xXx

**EDIT**
I also finished Harry Potter 7 the day it came out! So I was pleased about that. I generally liked it though some parts were a little boring. I loved the battle and the end though!! Yay!! I might to a proper update/review on it later...
I've also put up a massive graphics post on [info]icon_sitio, so everyone must go and check it out! I've got one of the headers as my header atm! So look at that!

OK, we have a meme snagged from elki308 who I think snagged from rayslady who I think made it!

OK, very short update because I need to do my English coursework so I can get onto doing RS revision for my GCSE on thursday!

OK, so I finished Life On Mars. I had to miss out Episode 5 from Series 2 because it wouldn't download. It was generally good but I found quite a few plot holes and loose ends with the final episode.

Last weekend I went to Mel's house, and she managed to get me hooked on Lost. I missed out about 15 or so episodes from series 1 and went straight onto series 2, so I need to go back and fill in a bit. It's pretty good. Probably rates similar to 24.

I have an iPod video! That's new. Down side is that now I'm in quite a bit of debt.

I went to Cardiff with my friends. Did a lot of shopping and also went to the Doctor Who exhibition!! That was pretty fun! I'll post some pictures when I get a chance!

Pitch Perfect (our little 9 person choir at school) has had two public performances, we have another few booked and we're recording some jingles for Severn Sound this week! It should be really exciting!!

I've started riding lessons. They're good fun. I think at my next lesson I'm gonna learn how to canter so that ought to be interesting!

I've finished my work at the Charity Shop, so that's my D of E service done! I've got my proper expedition this weekend, which I am not looking forward to because it looks like it's going to be raining all weekend!

Also hooked on Spiderman. I'm going to see the third movie on Thursday night with a friend from school after school so my RS exam will be all out of the way!

Other new TV shows I'm hooked on: Gilmore Girls (so cute), Smallville (cheesy but kinda cool) and House (nice and sarcastic stuff!!). I've found an amazing site for watching TV shows on the internet. It works like YouTube but the videos are longer and better quality. find it at: http://www.tv-links.co.uk

Gotta go!! Eeks!

I'm in a blogthingy mood...

You Are a Pinky

You are fiercely independent, and possibly downright weird.
A great communicator, you can get along with almost anyone.
You are kind and sympathetic. You support all your friends - and love them for who they are.

You get along well with: The Ring Finger

Stay away from: The Thumb

Um, harsh and nice...?

People Envy Your Compassion

You have a kind heart and an unusual empathy for all living creatures. You tend to absorb others' happiness and pain.

People envy your compassion, and more importantly, the connections it helps you build. And compassionate as you are, you feel for them.

Hmmm...

You are "Face with Glasses"

Hehe...

You Passed 8th Grade Science

Congratulations, you got 7/8 correct!

Oh yes!! That's reassuring!!

You Are 4% Spoiled

You are definitely not spoiled. You've worked hard for what you have.
Down to earth and grounded, you don't need a lot to make you happy.

CLicky )

Had a two day D of E walk this weekend, so I'm shattered and so stiff. I have bruises in every imaginable place, blisters on my feet and a big cut on my leg where - on the first style (sp) of the expedition - I cut my leg on barbed wire. Can't be bothered to rant and rave, so 24 and sleep time.

Other news:

Archos are still being annoying and now want me to pay for the repairs, but they haven't told me how much they want me to pay. I doubt I'll pay for it and instead I'll get an iPod Video. For the Spanish trip (in 5 days) I'm borrowing my brother's iPod. I synced that today and I still have 17.6GB left so I need to get some more films on there.

On Friday we finished for Easter, and it was possibly the worst end of term ever. We had a Maths test that everyone failed at, and English essay planning and a Chemistry experiment, and meh. Nothing fun at all. Then a horribly boring service in the afternoon. We were home an hour early though, so that was good.

I've been watching more 24 Season 4. I'm now onto episode 15, which is pretty good considering I've only been going a week. It's pretty good, but I'm realising how much I want to rewatch the first few series'. There's a lot of Series 1 and 2 that I really want to recap on because I keep on forgetting things. I'll probably end up buying them sometime.

This weekend I went to Emily's house for a sleepover, but before I went there I went into town with Mel and we went to the book meeting. In town I bought a really nice top from H&Ms, a DT folder for school, a Chasing Liberty and What A Girl Wants boxset, Sky High, and these books:
Skulduggery Pleasant - Derek Landy
The Stolen Child - Keith Donohue
Twin Freaks - Paul Magrs

The first and last were proof copies; I have to return the last but I'm allowed to keep the first one! The middle is our set book for this month and it looks OK, but it might get a bit boring. It only cost £5 though, so it's OK.

Going to watch some more 24 now. xXx

Other news:

Having quite a few issues with my Archos right now. The screen has been completely smashed in and it totally unusable. We've spoken to the Archos people and they have said that they'll either repair it, replace it, refund it, or do nothing whatsoever. They said that they'll deal with it within ten days. I can only send it off once I've received an email that I can only get on Monday. So presuming they get it Tuesday, it should be back a week on Friday. My problem is on Friday night, I'm going to Spain with school (yay!) and I really wanted to take my Archos with me, but unless they replace or repair it, it's very unlikely I'll get it. I've spent the morning looking at replacement Archoses. I found a few on Amazon that are a lot cheaper and do more stuff, but I can't decide between those and an iPod Video. It's all so complicated. Any suggestions?

Also, right now, we're having our bathrooms re-done, so everythings pretty hectic. Should be able to use it all by about Wednesday though!

I had Open Morning on yesterday  that was a bit of a drag. I was guiding and I had to show around a family who asked the most awkward questions, like "Is Russian taught to the Sixth-Formers?". They were looking around for their daughter who'd be going into Year 7 and they were wondering about something that wouldn't happen for another 6 years!!!

Dancing On Ice was good. I'm glad Kyran won, but I really wanted to see Duncan's Bolero.

I've read The Fall by Robert Muchamore (CHERUB 7) and it is now my new favourite. My order is:

1. The Fall
2. Divine Madness
3. Maximum Security
4. The Recruit
5. Class A
6. The Killing
7. Man vs. Beast

GEORGI DON'T READ THIS NEXT BIT IT'S MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Ellie, I think you ought to know that James cheated on Kerry and is now with Dana and they are much better suited!

I've watched Stick It and I reckon it's definitely not the best film in the world, but I think it's a nice feel-good film.
I attempted to watch the first episode of Life On Mars but I'm afraid I fell asleep! I don't think it was anything to do with the story I was just pretty tired! I'm gonna try it again, but I have so much to watch atm!! My brother's friend has just lent him the 4th season of 24 so I've got taht to watch too! As well as Lord of the Rings Trilogy Boxset and Moulin' Rouge!!!! I know Mel, I won't forget!!!

Ok in this is the most amount of blogthings ever. Literally about 20.

No words of wisdom from me today, I'm sorry, I'm pretty ill and I can't be bothered. Even though my daily horoscope said that today I would be in good health...it could not be more wrong.
Now going to watch Dancing On Ice The Final. I want the line up to be:
3rd - Clare
2nd - Duncan
1st - Kyran

Other news:

Ordered 3 new items from Amazon:
The Fall by Robert Muchamore (CHERUB 7) - it's out early
Stick It A film that I've seen advertised on the internet, and I figured I'd get.
Life On Mars Series 1 Boxset I know it's on TV and I'm downloading it, but I figured the boxset would be nice.

Had an odd weekend. There was a very last minute tent booking, and since my brother was away for a few days, I had to take care of it. I think my brother was hoping for a substantial part of the fee, but I don't think that's fair, since he didn't do anything for it. Plus, we reckon it was on the hardest sites we'd ever tried.

Dancing On Ice was good. I'm glad Emily has gone, though I did think she skated well tonight. I know it sounds mean, but I really think it would have a been a big shame if any of the others had gone.

What can I say? It's incredibly late at night, I am lying in bed, and updating my LiveJournal from my brand new laptop! I'm 15, and am yet to have my friends over for a sleepover... Life is good...

My Week:

Thursday: School finished.

Friday: Went to Mel's house in the afternoon and stayed the night. We watched Chasing Liberty and Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

Saturday: We got up nice and late, ate some pizza, then went into town for a Waterstone's books meeting thing. I got some new books, and will hopefully have a proof copy of Nightrise by Anthony Horowitz relatively soon, to read as well!!

Sunday: Got up late again, and went to Ellie's house in the afternoon. We watched Chasing Liberty and talked some more about laptops...

Monday: In the morning I worked in the charity shop, had a piano lesson, made an HTML website, and got some prep done.

Tuesday: I went to the cinema with people. There was road works so I got there late, and I ended up missing the start of the film! We saw Epic Movie and all I can say is it was a complete waste of time. It managed to finish 30 minutes early, not to mention the pretty terrible idea and spoof-ness. A warning: Do Not See This Film. Got some more prep done. Went to the library and got three films (Yours, Mine & Ours, Bring It On: All Or Nothing, The Lake House) and a book (TRACES: Double Check by Malcolm Rose).

Wednesday: Finished a lot of prep in the morning, and I went to the cinema again in the afternoon with Emily. We saw Music & Lyrics, which I had already seen, but Emily hadn't. It was a little dull the second time, but the music was good, so I'm not complaining!! New mobile handsets arrived from BT Mobile. I sent the evening setting mine up. I'm pretty pleased with mine, though I do feel a little guilty because my brother didn't get such a good phone... He seems ok about it though. This is a picture of my new phone:

Thursday: Got up at 8am. Opened laptop and other presents very quickly. By 8.20 I was setting up my laptop. I got all the internet and all my programs loaded up by lunchtime. My brother finally surfaced from his room at about that time. He gave me the 2nd Robin Hood Volume and a marshmallow mug! Ellie came over in the afternoon and she helped me with some more laptop-y-things, then we watched The Lake House (Oh, such a sad film!). There was an interruption when Emma dropped by to give me my present; some pjs and a little sparkly box packed full with earrings! I wasn't expecting her to turn up, so I was really surprised when she did!! Later, Ellie and I went to the cinema (I know, I know, third time in three days) and we saw Hot Fuzz (my first 15!). It was another spoof type movie, but it was much more subtle and it was so much better than Epic Movie! This film is a definite Must See!! It was absolutely hilarious, even if a little predictable. After a chocolate fondue and a pizza feast, it was time to call it a day. And now here I am writing this.

Tomorrow, people arrive in the afternoon, then they're staying until lunchtime Saturday. When we take everyone back, we're dropping my dad at the rugby, and my mum and I are going shopping. I have a Fat Face voucher to spend (some pjs I got as a Christmas present broke) and I want to go to H&Ms. Then Sunday, the last bit of homework, and a family outing to see some friends. Then Monday school life begins again. Though, I do know for a fact that once we go back, there's only three weeks and four days left until our Easter holidays start!!

Anyway, it's now even later, and I really, really want to go to sleep soon!! Write again soon xXx

Other news:

Laptop is here! But I'm not allowed it! Coping with it though...

I've got three new books:
GemX
Mortal Engines
The Star Kingdom
If you've heard of any of them, drop me a comment and tell me if you think they're good!!

Also watched Chasing Liberty and it is now my official Film Of The Moment. And Mel lent me the Lord of the Rings Trilogy boxset, and I've watched the first but not the next two! I'm definitely looking forward to them!!

Now off to Ellie's house, so I gotta go get ready!! Write again soon xx

*EDIT*

I also have a plan! With money I get for my birthday (hopefully) I will either get this TV card thingy for my laptop  or a Paid account (plus more userpics) and this 24 boxset... All set... But I am definitely considering the Paid account!! I've worked out it'll only cost about £15!

OK, so I haven't updated in a while, I know. But everything has been a little hectic around here.

First off, last week I had two snow days!! It was brilliant! Except for the fact that we had rehearsals for a concert all Thursday afternoon (the concert, incidentally got canceled).
I had to get into school for these rehearsals, so Emma and I traveled to school by train.
We got there at 12 and luckily missed Games - I would have died if they had made me play netball, this time of year!
We got attacked by chavs with snowballs whilst waiting for said rehearsals to begin, and then got shouted at in choir.
Flute group practice was terrible, we sound so horrible together, plus a short kid nicked my part.
Then our teacher turned up late for Pitch Perfect.
On our bus home that night, there were only twelve people. By my stop there were four.

Meh, then Friday, went to school as normally as possible, but it was still snowing pretty hard, though most of the roads had cleared. First three lessons ran quite smoothly, each teacher coming up with a different excuse as to why we weren't allowed outside to play in the snow. Then break-time arrived, and a rumour was started by a conversation between my brother and the Headmaster. It went something like: " We will have to organise for everyone to be picked up." "Hmmm, yes that will take time." "I'll keep you posted." "Thank you."
Oh yes, I know, thrilling stuff. But this started a rumour going throughout the entire school that the school might be closing. Everyone presumed it was a prank, but then my Maths teacher walked in and shouted very loudly that we all had to get our stuff and get to our Tutor Rooms. It was brilliant. We caught buses home, and it carried on snowing all the way. When we were walking from the bus stop, it was like a blizzard!!
Later, I decided to try and get back into Gloucester to meet my friends at the cinema. So then began the long ordeal of telephone calls to parents and siblings. I got my brother to drop me in Stroud, where I went to the train station, bought my ticket and got told I had 45 minutes until the train would arrive. I went into town, got some money, bought some sweets and considered buying a book to read but decided against it. I eventually got on the train and made it all the way to Gloucester all by myself! I was pretty pleased, to be honest, because I had only been on a similar journey once before, and that was the day before with two other people. Anyway, I got to Gloucester, got picked up by Mel's mum (with Mel and Amelia too) and then we drove to the cinema, and we saw Music And Lyrics. I had heard it wasn't the best film on at the moment, but it made me laugh out loud a few times and that's good enough for me (The subject quote is taken from the film, and pretty much sums the whole film up).
I've not done much since Friday, except watch a lot of 24. I now only have four episodes left! I'm very excited, but I can't start watching those last episodes until my brother finishes the last one, so I can have the disc. It's all terribly complicated, but it makes sense to me. I also found out today that I only have six days to read Seeker and Windsinger by William Nicholson. The good news is I'll get to go to Waterstones again, so that makes me happy.
Other news: There's only four more days left of school until half term, and even more exciting, it's only eleven days until my birthday!! My dad ordered my laptop this morning, and it should be here by the end of the week! I'm pretty hyper about that...

I'm sitting here on a computer with a broken spacebar. Great. I'm supposed to be doing a piece of creative writing about the life of a carbon atom. Yes. That is the task. To pretend you are a carbon atom. And you have to make it last a page. Even better.

Yesterday I spent about 5 hours writing some English coursework. Our set text is The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time. If you've read it, you'll know it has been written from the point of view of a 15 year old boy with Asperger Syndrome. Our task was to write a psychologist's report on whether or not he should be moved to mainstream education. It had to be presented properly and be at least 1500 words. It took forever. Believe me.

(from here on writing from home)

Everyone's ill. Last week I was off for 3 days, Wednesday to Friday, and so were a lot of other people in our year. I really thought that after the weekend, lots more people would be back in school, but no, classes were a bit bigger, but only marginally. I felt pretty bad again today, but I don't think it's too bad. I hope.

I've been making more graphics, and I will hopefully soon update on icon_sitio .

I've finished Season 2 of 24, and have made a start to Season 3, but haven't got that far yet.

I've read Bunker 10 and Double Or Die bringing my total number of books read this year to the grand total of 4. That's right. Avenger, Cherub: The Recruit, Bunker 10 and Double Or Die. Next on the list is Wind Singer, but it's a bit hard to get into, so I might re-read Girls In Pants or All American Girl. Neither are books of particularly wonderful literature, but I haven't read them in a while and I want to read something easy.

Anyhow, bye bye...
